In 1963, John Clayton and Will Toye shared a vision to build a firm whose team possessed the same passion and commitment that they felt for the business. Today their story is one of the successes of the UK forwarding industry. Together with early recruits Danny Toye and Derek Davis, Will and John speedily founded Allport as a significant air and sea freight forwarder. In the decades that followed, Allport has maintained consistent growth in staff, resources and revenue. In their 2009 market report Key Note identified Allport as the UK's leading independent freight forwarder.
