GBL was set up in 1986 by three wheelchair users whose simple dream was to provide a genuine choice of products, backed up with nice factual advice from a user's perspective. From its humble beginnings, GBL now has two showrooms and has expanded through the years from its roots in sports and manual wheelchairs to the addition of power-chairs, scooters, parts, repairs and many other products. Today our selection reflects a array of products which have been carefully selected for performance and reliability.

Thank you Ian for the speedy turn around!Our son who has a Panthera recently broke his leg and our make do leg support really wasn't the best.
I called on Thursday to order a stump board and today (Monday morning) it arrived and is now fitted
As always GBL have been really helpful and reliable when we need them even though they may be a few miles more away from us

Fabulous place!
Quite simply the only place to go in the country for all things wheelchair and mobility related, there is nothing that I have asked for that this team hasn't provided me with, chairs, bikes, bags, off road chairs, bespoke day and basketball chairs, sundries, portable ramps, it's a bit like a specialist shop for adults with all of the great equipment and chair choices to try out it really is like a shopping haven! The only issue is I could literally buy everything I see, different chair for every activity and also great for events matching wheels and accessories for travel, the list is endless.........fabulous place! Value for Money

Excellent and real world practical advice
We have just left GBL Wheelchairs and for the first time since mY partner's injury we feel like there's someone on our team. The knowledge is outstanding, couldn't do enough for us and is helping us to create a specialist chair that suits our needs. At no point we were being upsold.... instead just given excellent and real world practical advice.
